We spent a little over a year in our home port of Frankfort, MI., and we have resumed our Loop adventure on August 31st, 2019. This Blog is to record the adventures of the crew of the MV Jolly Mon as we work our way around the Great American Loop. Scheduled departure is from Melbourne Fl, during the first week of April 2017 and we hope to return in November 2017. Jolly Mon is a 2005 SeaRay Sundancer 390 with a Sea Lift hydraulic platform added for easy launch and recovery of our 8.5 ft Highfield RIB.

This is Jim & Andrea's Great Loop blog. After more than 20 yrs of sailing we'll be motoring in our 390 Mainship Trawler. In September 2017 we depart Northport, MI, head to Chicago and continue south. After winter in the Keys and a side trip to the Bahamas we'll travel up the east coast,through the Great Lakes and back to Northport by September 2018. Excited to see friends and family along the way!
